Our local presence gives us not only an opportunity but also a responsibility to provide legal services and assistance to the community in which we do much of our business. Through our social responsibility initiatives, we look for ways to apply our knowledge and experience to the challenges faced by the local community.
Working with not-for-profit organisations and charities
We regularly advise and provide legal services to non-governmental organisations, including:
- inJAz Bahrain (Junior Achievement organization)
- AIESEC (Global Youth organization)
- Think Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness charity)
In addition, our partners and lawyers are involved in a personal capacity, by sitting on the boards of such organisations and volunteering their time and experience to help them achieve their objectives.
Legal education and internships
Our firm is known to be a school for graduates who studied law in Bahrain and abroad. We offer a comprehensive in-house legal training programme which aims to teach practical legal skills as well as to provide hands-on experience covering corporate, commercial and dispute resolution matters. Some of our past trainee lawyers have over the years moved on to join other major international and regional law firms practising in the surrounding area.
Our partners, lawyers and staff carry out volunteer work for a wide range of charitable causes which benefit the local community. We also partner with our clients on a variety of charitable sporting and social events from time to time.
Under the leadership of Senior Partner Qays H. Zu’bi, our firm has provided pro bono services covering areas such as providing access to justice, supporting the local community and serving recognized non-governmental organisations.
Our charitable contributions are primarily focused on helping meet local community needs, promoting legal education projects, and supporting our community partners.
We share the concern of many of our clients, partners and employees for the sustainability of the environment and are working to improve our green management practices.
