Hamza Saleem is a Solicitor of England and Wales. He obtained LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of London.
He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales in 2014. Prior to his admission as a Solicitor, he was Called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2008. He is also admitted as an Advocate at the courts of Pakistan since 2009.
Hamza joined Zu’bi and Partners (formerly, Qays H. Zu’bi) in 2010 bringing with him the experience of having worked at ‘Mandviwalla and Zafar’ and ‘Mohsin Tayebaly & Co.’, Pakistan’s well reputed law firms holding expertise in banking, finance, corporate and commercial laws.
Since at Zu’bi and Partners, he has been working on a range of transactions involving capital markets, mergers, acquisitions and related corporate matters. Hamza also advises the financial institutions on the provision of regulated financial services and development of banking products and services in Bahrain. His financing experience in Pakistan assists him in advising on conventional and Islamic financing, restructuring of finance facilities and collateralization of finance.
Hamza has significantly contributed to the ‘Doing Business’ – a project of The World Bank and IFC, that provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 185 economies. He also writes for local magazines and legal digests in Bahrain.
